DELF / DALF DIPLOMASDELF/DALF diplomas are official qualifications issued by the French Ministry of Education and are valid for life.

You are French, originally from a non-French speaking country and you do not have any French high school diploma or higher education diploma? Maison Descartes offers a 12 hours preparation course to DELF A2, B1, B2 and DALF C1.

The Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF) is a language level test :
The TCF is an objective test, standardized and gauged, which is valid for a two-year-period.

Compulsory tests are presented as questions with multiple choices of 80 items for which only one answer is correct. These items deal with oral comprehension, use of grammatical syntax and written comprehension. Questions are designed on a principle of progressive difficulty. The correction is made by a scanner. The TCF also offers two additional tests, evaluating oral and written expression.
